Billy Jack Reynolds, 87 of Springfield, Missouri passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at 4:46 a.m. in Mercy Hospital. Jack was surrounded by family and friends throughout his life as well as at his death. He will be remembered and cherished by many as a husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. His loving nature will be missed but his memory will never be forgotten. After Jack retired from many years of service with Roadway Trucking, he was an active member of the Abou Ben Adhem Shrine Temple. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Edna Moxley Reynolds; his wife, Juanita L. Reynolds; a son, Danny Jack Reynolds; five brothers, Gib, Tom, Ray, John, and Ed Reynolds; and a sister, Annabelle Masterson. He is survived by a daughter, Debbie Mann; a son, Gary Reynolds all of Springfield; a daughter-in-law, Susan Reynolds of Denton, Tx; three grandchildren, Doug Reynolds and wife, Melissa, and Dana Lankford all of Ft. Worth, Tx; and Bryan Mann and wife, Corinne of Columbia, Mo; five great-grandchildren, Jacob Reynolds, Danny Reynolds, Amber Goodman and her husband, Chris of Searcy, Ar., Dakota Lankford and Bailey Lankford all of Ft. Worth, Tx. Funeral services will be Thursday, July 11, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home with the Reverend Sue Baggett-Spears officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 1:00-2:00 p.m. in the funeral home. A special thanks to Jack's caregivers, Mary Garzee, her daughter Amanda Neil and her children, Ethan, Jayden, and Trevor, who over the past few years have become a part of Jack's family.
