IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Bill
Hull
July 19, 1928 – October 10, 2019
George William Hull, 91, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 10, 2019 in Springfield, Missouri. "Bill" was born July 19, 1928 to Wesley Hull and Erma Ellen Heap (Nelson).
He served in the United States Air Force and was stationed in Alaska. On June 25, 1960 he married Minnie Leona Hull, and they were sealed together in the Idaho Falls temple for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in 1962.
Bill was a dedicated provider, and a successful salesman. He sold Renaware Cookware, a favorite of his, and built a career selling life insurance. He was also committed to service at church, and held many callings, including Counselor in a Bishopric and Stake Presidency. He and his wife, Minnie, also served a mission for the church in the Dallas-Ft. Worth Temple.
Bill will always be remembered for his positive outlook on life, special "sacks" he always brought his grandchildren, his absolute passion for the Dallas Cowboys, and the love and devotion he had for his sweet wife, Minnie.
Bill is survived by his sisters, Janice Mackey and Barbara Hoopes; his children, William Polk Cornelius, Jr., Barbara Lynette Cornelius Peterson, George Wesley Hull, and Merdene Smith; eleven grandchildren, thirty-three great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Minnie, his parents, one brother, and one sister.
Following a small, family graveside service, interment will take place on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
