Obituary

William T. "Bill" Butler, 62, Springfield, passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2017, with his wife Tammy by his side.  He was born May 26, 1955 in Humansville, MO, the son of Ralph and Rue Butler.

Bill grew up in Humansville, MO, after graduating high school, he went to the University of MO and received a Bachelor's degree in Ag Business.  After college, he moved to Kansas City, then later to St. Louis.  Bill was a natural born salesman, and he thoroughly enjoyed doing it.  He would have sold you before you knew what you had bought.

Bill met Tammy in April 2011, and they married in April 2013 in their favorite place on the beach in Florida.  They enjoyed many trips together, but as long as they were together, they were happy.

Bill was a die-hard St. Louis Cardinals fan.  He also enjoyed going to Chiefs games and watching Nascar.  Bill was a very talented singer with a great love of music.  He had a passion for cars, especially muscle cars.  Bill had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh.  He touched many lives and will be deeply missed.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jim.

Bill is survived by his loving wife, Tammy; son, Zack and wife Maggie; daughter, Jessie; brother, Jack; grandson, Maddox; and step-children, Bret and Michelle Williams and Cody Williams.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 2, 2017 in Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home.  Reception will follow at the Executive Conference Center, 910 W. Battlefield St, Springfield, MO 65807.
