Beverly Ann Ridder, 77, Springfield, born January 2nd, 1935, departed on October 30, 2012 with her five children at her side. Beverly was born and raised in Wichita, Kan., and moved to Springfield in 1964, where everyone knew her from the retail food brokerage. She was a charter member of Holy Trinity Church since 1964. She was preceded in death by her husband; Robert W. Ridder, parents Denzel and Fern Soderberg, grandson Andrew Ridder, and brother Duane Soderberg. She is survived by five children, Steve and Phyllis Ridder, Springfield, Connie and Mike Pennell, Springfield, Bobby and Karrie Ridder, Springfield, Libby and John Roberts, Nixa, Ernie and April Ridder, South Carolina; many relatives and friends and 13 grandchildren; Valerie and Rob Duncan, Sarah and Brad Smith, Ryan Pennell, Brandon, Matthew and Jared Ridder, Kyrie Hopkins, Caley and Darby Roberts, Gage, Chase and Hope Ridder, three great grand-children, Taylor and Olivia Duncan, Lexi Smith and two sisters Denise Owens and Deborah Parks. Funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, November 2nd, 2012, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with the Rev. Thomas Reidy and Rev. Fergus Monaghan Celebrant. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation services will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel.
