January 20, 1933 – February 21, 2021
Beverly Ann Clute, 88 of Springfield, Missouri passed away Sunday, February 21, 2021 at Cox South Hospital.
Beverly Ann Clute was born to Wilbur and Carol Hensel Vehmeier in Dakota, Illinois. She had two siblings: a brother Bill, and a sister, Karen. She attended Fairbanks Alaska High School
She married LaVerne Clute January, 8, 1951. In 1955 her husband graduated from Northwest Bible College and became an Ordained Minister with the Assemblies of God. Beverly served whole heartedly as a minister's wife. She helped manage her husband's activities as pastor of the churches where they served. She led and oversaw ministries to girls and women.
Upon retiring in Springfield Missouri in 1998, Beverly and her husband were active as Hospice Chaplains, and volunteered at churches which they attended. After her husband's passing Beverly helped several single women in many ways. The most common being, using her car to drive them to various places in the area to work, visit Doctors, shop, pay bills, or enjoy a meal.
Beverly tirelessly served others. She was a steadfast mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
LaVerne and Beverly served Assemblies of God churches in Tunkhannock, Shamokin, Lewistown, Jeannette, and Beaver Falls, all in Pennsylvania.
Beverly is survived by: two sons Randy Clute and his wife Rebekah of Springfield, Missouri; Gary Clute of Ft. Myers, Florida; daughter Darlene Clute of Freeport, Maine; six grandchildren, Jeremy Clute and his wife Kristin, Jennifer Mann, Ryan Clute, David Clute and his wife Amanda, Tyler Clute and Steven Clute; nine great-grandchildren, Jacob, and Elizabeth Clute, Joseph Akin, Nikolas Mann, Alexander and Aiden Clute, Kayla Clute, and Travis and Cameron Clute; and sister Karen and husband Ed James.
Preceded in death by her spouse, LaVerne Clute in 2012, her eldest son Daryl Clute in 2019 and her brother Bill Vehmeier.
Visitation will be Wednesday February 24, 2021 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday February 25, at 2:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Rivermonte Memorial Gardens.
