Betty Marie Prentice Wollpert 92, Springfield, MO passed away Thursday, April 21, 2016.

She was born May 8, 1923 in Painesville, OH to Lawrence C. and Doris Prentice.

Betty served in the Waves during WWII.

She retired as a secretary.

Betty received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science and a Minor in History at Missouri State (formerly Southwest Missouri State University.

She was married for forty years to James Wollpert, Sr., who preceded her in death.

Betty is survived by her daughter Patricia M. Curtis and a son Jim Wollpert, Jr.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 23, 2016 under the direction of Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel.
