Betty J. Small, 76 of Springfield was born on November 11, 1936 in Fulton, MO to Mary Dalton and Woodrow Lee. She went to Heaven August 13th, 2013 at Mercy Hospital. Betty was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her sisters Brenette Scott, Bobbye Lee; a brother Woodrow Lee Jr. of Columbia, MO; nieces Brandi Scott and Brenisha Scott; and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews of Springfield and Fulton, MO. Betty was a registered cosmetologist and home health care provider for several years; she also worked at Litton Industries for 33 years. She loved people and enjoyed playing bingo. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. For the last six years she spent her time at the Christian Healthcare East where they took great care of her. Betty will be missed dearly by family and friends. Graveside services will be held by Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home, Inc. at Hazelwood Cemetery on August 16th, 2013 at 1:00 p.m.
