Betty was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her strengths include her kindness, humor, meekness and friendship, which she extended to many. Memberships and activities which Betty enjoyed include sewing club, stamping club, card club, and dinner and lunch clubs with her friends.
She enjoyed spending time with her husband, family and friends at Table Rock lake. Betty was artistic, making crafts, handmade cards, and painting. She was quite a shopper and collector of antiques and enjoyed the art of home décor. Betty liked to travel with her husband, Ken.
Betty is survived by the love of her life, husband of 66 years, Kenneth Simkins; sons, Gregory (Amy) Simkins, and Douglas (Janis) Simkins; grandchildren, Adam (Alex) Simkins, Holly (Donny) Bushner, Ryan McKnight, Katie Simkins, and Josie Simkins; and great-grandchildren, Kendric, Anderson and Marshall Simkins, Logan and Lucas Bushner.
Funeral services for Betty will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, February 23, 2021, in Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Hazelwood Cemetery.
