Betty Louise Richards was born on July 20, 1929 and went to meet the Lord on October 14, 2017.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Jerry Richards.

She is survived by her two brothers Bob and James Stockstill and one sister Frankie Walker. She is also survived by her seven children Steve and Kathy Richards, David and Donna Richards, Robin and Shelly Richards, Stan and Patty Richards, Randy and Kathy Richards, Scott and Bobbie Richards, Susan and Doug Sloan, her 15 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

She was a Life Master in Bridge. She enjoyed traveling, reading, family gatherings, eating out and smoking her cigarettes. She was a mama bear to all of her kids friends, treating them like her own. We will fondly remember her in leopard print clothing, flashy earrings, gold shoes and colorful themed socks.

Come celebrate her life in a visitation at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home Tuesday October 17, from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Special thanks to all the staff at Glendale Gardens who treated her like family. We love and will miss you Betty Lou.
