Betty Jo Perryman, Age 80, passed away peacefully with her family and friends by her side Tuesday August 19th at The Maples Health and Rehabilitation center in Springfield Missouri. Betty had been courageously battling cancer, but Jesus decided it was time to bring her home.

Betty was born in Hartville Missouri on November 22, 1944. She was raised by her parents Maxine and Leo Patton as well as her grandparents Arvell and Ina Martin. Betty pointed out to her family who she wanted to marry when she was 9 years old, and that is just what she did. Betty married Ervin Perryman at the age of 15 and remained steadfast in her love for him for her entire life.

Betty was the most generous and caring person that we were all blessed to know. She was a devoted Christian, wife, mother, and grandmother. Betty spent her life seeking to honor and serve the Lord in all that she did. She always thought of others and opened her home and all of her heart to anyone she knew. Betty had a very special way of making everyone feel like they were family.

Betty worked for Price Cutter loyally for 35 years. Betty liked to stay busy and loved taking care of others. Just a month prior to her passing, Betty was still cooking meals for her friends and family, active in her Sunday School class, and caring for her great-grandchildren regularly.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband Ervin Perryman and her daughter Karla Beach. Betty is survived by her granddaughters, Nicole Kenney and Ashley Lucas, and her great grandchildren, Kaiden, Mason, and Landon Kenney.

Betty's love and generosity will not be forgotten. Betty would want those she loved to lean on God to help with her passing and rejoice that she is now in Heaven reunited with her family and Home at last with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Visitation will be from 10:00 - 11:00 AM, with Funeral Service following at 11:00 AM, on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Rivermonte Memorial Gardens.
