Betty Jo Koskovich Marrs age 78, of Springfield, passed away Saturday morning March 20, 2021 in her daughter and son-in-law's home.

Born in Eldorado Springs, MO, she is the daughter of Everett and Elizabeth Koskovich.  However, she lived most of her life in Springfield, MO. Betty graduated from Parkview High School and attended Kansas State University.

She was an avid bird watcher, an animal lover and enjoyed lake life. Betty was a member of the local credit bureau from the 1960's to the 1980's and was a member of the Elks Lodge.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jerry Marrs; sister, Nancy Long; and step-son, J. Scott Marrs.  She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Michele and Thomas Cannon of Springfield; grand-dogs, April, Titan, and Frankie; daughter-in-law, Brigitte Marrs of Springfield; grandchildren, Katharine and William Marrs and Beth Anne Hendrickson. She is also survived by several nephews, nieces, cousins, and a special niece, Pat Woods of Fair Grove, MO, along with her special work family at PSC Accounting.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, March 26, 2021 in Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home with the Rev. Gene Campbell officiating.  Burial will follow in Hazelwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Thursday in the funeral home.
