Betty Lou (Luck) Turner, age 97 passed away at Evelyn's House Hospice in St Louis, MO at 11:15 am on November 20, 2022. She was born in Fort Smith, Arkansas, on December 8, 1924, to Anna Mae Rogers and Ed Luck. Betty married Harold Turner on September 4, 1945. During their 58 years of marriage, they were blessed with twin boys, Barry David and Larry Scott. Harold and their son Barry preceded her in death. She is survived by her son Larry Turner and his wife Melinda (Missy) along with their children Rebecca (David) Birkenmeier, Stephen (Kelle) Turner, and Scott (Kayla) Turner. Betty is also survived by her daughter-in-law Linda Kay Turner and Barry's three children Nancy (Jeff) Birkenmeier, Ryan Turner, and Natalie Turner. Betty was the proud great grandmother of eight: Sam and Anna Birkenmeier; Alex and Lauren Birkenmeier; Katherine, Layla, and Skylar Turner; Caroline Turner. Betty is also survived by her niece, Patty Espey and her nephew, Mike Hayes.

After raising her twin boys, she worked for Cox Medical Center in the business office. She loved gardening and flowers and was proud to serve as chair of the flower committee for many years at University Heights Baptist Church where she was a charter member and attended for over 65 years.

Visitation is scheduled from 10:00 to 11:00 am December 5, 2022, at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home followed by a service at 11:00 am, Scott Turner officiating. Interment will be immediately following at Hazelwood Cemetery.
