Obituary

Betty, age 64, of Fair Play, Missouri passed away at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri with family by her side.

She was born in Springfield, Missouri, the daughter of David and Maxine Visintainer.

Betty is survived by her two brothers, David Visintainer and his family of St. Louis, and Alan Visintainer and his family of Maryland; husband of 44 years Brent Gamble of Fair Play; her two sons, Brandon Gamble and wife Christie of New York, and Brian Gamble of Springfield; and many other relatives and close friends.

Early in her life, Betty had a love for horses and competed in many equestrian sports. She graduated from Glendale High School in Springfield in 1975 and attended MSU. For the past 30 years, Betty worked for the Fair Play School District, beginning as a substitute teacher and most recently as the Director of Before and After School Programs. Betty loved working in education and in her free time she enjoyed traveling, exploring new places and spending time with family and friends.

She was a loving wife and mother and was cherished by all whose lives she touched.

Per Betty's wishes, a private celebration of life will be held instead of funeral services.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made under Betty's name to the Fair Play Elementary Base Program, the American Cancer Society, or a charity of your choosing.
