Betty Jean Davidson, age 89, of Springfield, MO passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2017.

She was born October 10, 1927 in Ash Grove, MO the daughter of James L. and Edna (West) Daniel. Betty was united in marriage to Ralph Davidson on May 16, 1948 in Springfield, MO by Rev. Lynn Swadley.

She worked for Frisco Railroad/Burlington Northern for 30 years. Betty was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Walter Edwin Daniel. Betty is survived by her husband Ralph E. Davidson; two sons Dan Davidson, of Chesterfield, MO and Phil (Kim) Davidson, of Republic, MO; six grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 1, 2017 from 10 to 11:00 a.m. in Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Cecil Tolbert officiating in the funeral home. Burial will be in White Chapel cemetery.
