Bettie Ann Cox, 75, of Springfield passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2014. Bettie was born in Warrensburg, MO on October 10, 1938 to Wilburn and Nadine Decker Henry. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jackie Berl Cox; her beloved son, Jeffery Lynn Cox; and a brother, Dale Henry. Bettie is survived by her daughter, Jackie Ann Van Gorp; a son, James Michael Cox; her granddaughter, Amber Monteer; a great-grandson Weston Monteer; and a brother, Butch Henry. Funeral services will be Thursday, March 13, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mission Ridge Cemetery, Urbana, MO. Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 12, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
