It's hard to forget someone who gave us so much to remember

Bette Lee LaBrot Fay was born May 7, 1926 in Crystal City, MO to Lee and Clarice LaBrot and departed this life March 1, 2017.

She married Robert Emory Fay on October 15, 1949 and lived in Joplin, MO until after Bob's death.

Bette is survived by her children Sally (Tom) Fenton, Springfield, MO, Pat (Angie) Fay, St. Charles, MO, Barbara Fay, Denver, CO and Jim (Lisa) Fay, Springfield, IL. She also leaves behind 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

The family would like to offer a special thanks to Intrepid Hospice and the staff at Fremont Assisted Living.

Memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, March 10, 2017 at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Visitation will follow service in the funeral home.
