Sue Mitchell, daughter of the late Edward and Bertha Lefler. She was born on September 21, 1930 in Mountain Grove, Missouri. Sue passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2009 following a long illness. She grew up in the Mountain Grove area and was united in marriage to Charles Mitchell on May 12, 1962. Sue was a member of Parkview Christian Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She retired from Southwestern Bell. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Julius Lefler, and two sisters, Luella Nail, and Cora Smith. Sue is survived by her husband Charles Mitchell, a son Michael C. Mitchell, and his wife Michelle, and two grandsons Zach and Jake, and many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, February 23, 2009 in Missouri Veterans Cemetery with Reverend Michael Goeringer officiating under the care of Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel. Visitation will be from 3 to 4 PM Sunday in the funeral home.
