Bernice J. Schenk, age 99, passed away on April 6, 2013 in St. Louis, MO. She was preceded in death by her husbands: Wm. Arnold Monaghan (1979) and John Schenk (1991). She is survived by step-children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Bernice enjoyed gardening, traveling and volunteering for her church and community. A Memorial Mass will be held on April 25, 2013 at 10:00 at Immaculate Conception Church, 3555 S. Fremont Ave, under the care of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers a tribute can be made in her honor to the Humane Society of Southwest Missouri, 3161 W. Norton Road, Springfield, Missouri 65803.
