Barbara Tombridge, age, 86 of Springfield, Mo passed away at 11:00 a.m. on November 1, 2018. She was born July 30, 1932 to Ralph and Mae Clark in St. Louis, Mo. She was an avid tennis player throughout her life and enjoyed hiking with her husband, Tom. She loved her weekly mahjong game with her close friends. She loved cooking and enjoying special meals with family and friends. Barbara was a registered nurse and former hospice volunteer where she received the Silver Bell Award for volunteer of the year in 1982.

Barbara is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas L. MD, daughter, Lisa Rauhoff, and her brother, Roger Clark.

She is survived by her daughters, Susan Durden and her husband Norman of Springfield and Julie Brett of Tulsa, her sons, Mark Tombridge of Tulsa and Gary Tombridge and his wife Terri of Springfield, her brother, Richard Clark, her grandchildren, Bryson Tombridge, Christopher Tombridge and his wife Alaynah, Ashley Durden, Kelly Durden, Carson Brett, Riley Childers and her husband Parker, Katie Tombridge, Megan Tombridge, her great grandchildren, Colton Durden, Liam Upchurch, and Nora Ash.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 6 ^th at Immaculate Conception, with Reverend Tom Kiefer officiating, under the direction of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Burial will be in Hazelwood Cemetery. A visitation will be held before the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. We would like to thank  Dr. Dominic Meldi and his staff for their loving care of our mother.
