Barbara Annabelle Anderson Stalnaker 69 of Springfield mo went home to be with the Lord on Monday February 13, 2012 She arrived as an angel on July 26, 1942 in Fairmont West Virginia to Charles and Gladys Anderson. Barbara married her childhood sweetheart William Thayer Stalnaker on August 6, 1960. At that time her legacy began. She was a proud mom of her four beautiful children William Thayer Stalnaker II, Felicia Dawn Mackey, Tracy Lynn Adams and Joseph carmine Stalnaker. She became Granny to 8 even more beautiful grandchildren- William Thayer Stalnaker III (rocky) Sonja Ashley Stalnaker, Steven Lyle Stalnaker, Dalton Layne Mackey, Ciara Elaine Mackey, Samantha Rose Adams, Ebony Love Stalnaker and Elijah Thayer Stalnaker. Barbara lived for her family and her greatest moments were when she became a "Granny." Her love for family and friends was immeasurable. She was the heart of her family. All who knew her always commented on the fact of being a true blessing to all. We hope that you will see her in all of us as we try to live life without her. Memorial Service will be Wednesday February 15 from 6-8pm in Holy Trinity Catholic Church (2818 E. Bennett St. Springfield, MO 65804). Funeral Service will be Thursday February 16, 11am in the church. Family has asked that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made courtesy Girls & Boys Club of Springfield Mo, in her honor.
