Barbara Wirth (Brake) Randall was born in Springfield, MO on July 25, 1928 to Mildred (Wirth) and Denzel Brake. She was married to Gene B Randall, Sr., and had 4 sons. Later she and her husband adopted a fifth son.

Barbara was an exceptional homemaker and a quilter. With her husband and sons, she traveled across much of the United States, from major cities to National Parks. She loved her family, her home, and her faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband and her adopted son, Anthony "Tony" S., an Iraqi war veteran. She is survived by four sons: Gene B. Jr. of Tulsa, OK; Donald B. of Los Angeles, CA; Dana C. of Springfield, MO; and Chris W. of New York, NY; grandson Gene B III "Trey"; granddaughter Jennifer; and two great-grandchildren, Ellie and Dylan.

She will be buried next to her husband in Greenlawn Cemetery in Springfield in a private service.
