Barbara J. McCormick, 76 of Springfield passed away, Friday, May 20, 2022 at Mercy Hospital.

She was born August 31, 1945 in Wichita, Kansas to Richard and C. Janice Peterson.

Barbara retired after 25 years of service from the City of Springfield.  In her younger years, she enjoyed bowling and golf.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Delbert McCormick of the home and a sister, Carol Peterson of Ormond Beach, Florida.

A memorial visitation will be Thursday, May 26, 2022 from 4-6PM at Gorman Scharpf Funeral Home.  Private family burial will be in Missouri Veteran's Cemetery.
