Barbara Lee (nee Lauderdale) passed away on August 13, 2021 at the age of 89. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years, Robert O Lee. She was a long time member of First Baptist Church, Springfield, MO. She also was a seventy year member of the PEO sisterhood, Chapter FU. She loved playing the piano, horseback riding, and beating her grandkids at Skip Bo. We will miss her beautiful smile, kind heart and the devotion she had for her family and friends. She was the devoted mother of Tim Lee, Gary Lee, Cathy (Mike) Swearengin, Becky (Don) Calvin, loving grandmother of Robb, Doug, Seth, DJ (Alison), Alyssa, Taylor, Mallory (Derick), Zac, Nick, Blake (Danielle),and Sophie (Will), dear sister of Bill (Norma) Lauderdale and Sally (Fred) Bulla. A service to celebrate Barbara's life will be held at Gorman-Scharpf funeral home on September 11, 2021 at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the ministry of First Baptist Church on South Street.
