Barbara Joan Wright Hoss, 78, Fair Grove, MO passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2011 with her daughter by her side. Barbara was united in marriage to Bob Marsh in 1959; to this union four children were born, Robert, Ted, Kevin and Kimberly. She was united in marriage to Eugene S. Hoss in 1976. Barbara enjoyed her dogs, and most of all her nieces, nephews and grandchildren. She graduated from Springfield Central High School in 1952. Barbara graduated from St. John's School of Nursing and Drury College in 1959 with a degree in nursing. She taught nursing at Graff Vo-Tech and Ozark Technical College before retiring in 1993. After retiring, she volunteered at Cox South Hospital in the Gift Shop. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard "Ted" Wright and Leila Mae Wright; two sons, Ted A. Marsh and Kevin D. Marsh; and brother, Dr. Donald Wright. She was also preceded in death by Bob G. Marsh and Eugene S. Hoss. She is survived by a son, Robert Marsh of Corpus Cristi, TX; a daughter, Kimberly Marsh-West and son-in-law, Robert West of Plattsburg, MO; brothers, Ted Wright (Emily), Dr. Michael Wright (Allene), sister-in-law, Lynn Wright and grandchildren, Heather, Tim, Tom, Achille and Jake Marsh. Graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, November 22, 2011 in Springfield National Cemetery under the care of Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel. My mom was the most honest, compassionate and loving person that I have ever known. I'll always love you mom, Kimberly.
