Barbara Jean Stokes Hildreth, 89, of Springfield, passed away on July 2, 2021. She was born December 6, 1931, to Claude and Rachel Stokes in Pleasant Hope, MO.

She retired from Lily Tulip. She loved bowling with all her friends at Sunshine Lanes.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Hildreth; her parents and all 10 of her brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her daughter, Susie Mallernee and husband Tom of Springfield; son, Eddie McGuire and wife Sharon of Marshfield, MO; three grandchildren, Stephanie Watson and husband Clint of Republic, MO, Tracy Bonner of Marshfield and Bud Boswell and wife Tammy of Rogersville; five great-grandchildren, Logan and Sammi Watson, Grant and Olive Boswell and Ruby Bonner; sister-in-law, Sally Stokes of Pleasant Hope and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 8, 2021, from 11:00 AM – Noon at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Graveside Service will follow at 1:00 PM in Brighton Cemetery, Brighton, MO.
