Barbara Barnett passed away on June 8, 2013 in Springfield, Mo. She is survived by 4 children, 9 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. Mom always considered Telford, Tennessee home even though she lived in several places over the years. She was the daughter of the amazing Ardella Zaruba and they both shared some beautiful characteristics. We strive daily to immolate how mom treated people as she believed in talking to others not about others. If we mentioned something bad about someone, mom would softly turn it around and point out some good things about the person. In a world of wants by far exceeding needs, mom didn't care about things, she cared about her family and friends. If someone hurt, mom hurt. Some of us are afraid to risk the inevitable pain that comes with living life this way. She always made us feel loved and expressed it in any way she could. But what we appreciate more than anything else is the gift she gave us in introducing us to Christ. From my mom to you: "The only two things in life we can't afford to lose are hope and faith."
