Audrey J. Hankins, 87, Ash Grove, MO, passed away January 22, 2021 in Mercy Hospital, Springfield.  She was born January 14, 1934 in Greene County, MO, to Fredrick S. and Clara L. (Edel) Pranter.

She received her master's degree and worked as an Educator for many years.  One of Audrey's books was entered into the Library of Congress.

Audrey was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William B. "Bill" Hankins, her son, William Andrew Paul Hankins, sister, Betty Miles, and a niece, Pam.

She is survived by her nephew, Michael Miles.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 29, 2021 in Danforth Cemetery, Greene County, MO, under the care of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home.
