Aubrey Ralph Hammock, born Sep 9, 1930 left this world the evening of November 6, 2020 leaving behind a legacy of love and many who will grieve his passing.   He is survived by his son Anthony L. Hammock of Springfield, his daughter-in-law Lorna L Hammock, his grandchildren:  Emily Hammock, Noah Scott, Jonah Scott, Asa Scott and Luke Hammock.  He will join his predeceased family members in paradise including beloved wife Carol Hammock (1938-2012), his parents Maddie and Blanton Hammock, along with many siblings.

Aubrey served in the U.S. Navy for 21 years and was honorably discharged in 1969.  After that, he was a credit manager for Gemco in San Jose, California.  He relocated to Missouri in 1981 where he worked at ShowMe Power in Lebanon, MO before retiring and moving to Springfield in 1991.

Aubrey enjoyed playing golf and gardening.  His backyard was always a showplace for the most beautiful and fragrant roses.  He was a consistently kind and thoughtful man who will be missed by all who knew him.
