Obituary

Arlene Lance, 83, of Springfield, Mo., went home to be with the Lord on December 18th, 2020.

Arlene was born on May 14th, 1937 in Reeds, Mo., daughter to Carl and Lula Belle Peterson.
On April 25th, 1964, she married Gene Lance in Springfield, Mo., where they made their home. From that union, they had two daughters, Mary and Andee.
Arlene retired from Southwestern Bell/AT&T phone company after many years of service. She enjoyed traveling, Southern Gospel music, and spending time with her family.
Arlene is preceded in death by her parents, a brother, and husband, Gene Lance.
She is survived by brother, Edd Peterson of Aurora, Mo., daughter Mary Garrison and husband Scott of Nixa, Mo., daughter Andee Sanders and husband Lane of Ozark, Mo., four grandchildren, Emilee Miller and husband John, Lance Garrison, Nathan and Jacob Sanders, and a host of nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation and only a private burial due to COVID-19 restrictions.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Meals on Wheels program, located at 3801 S. National Avenue, Springfield, MO 65807.
