Arbie E. Marsh, age 88, of Springfield, Missouri passed away in Mercy Hospital on April 17, 2016 following a short illness. He was born April 9, 1928 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Dave and Ruby Marsh. On December 25, 1953, Arbie was united in marriage to Ima Mae Setser in Maysville, Arkansas.

Arbie belonged to Seminole Baptist Temple of Springfield for many years. He worked for Kraft Foods 42 years, retiring in 1988.

Arbie was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, Max Scoggins.

Arbie is survived by his wife of 62 years, Ima Mae Marsh; one son, Steven Marsh and his wife Lee Ann; one daughter, Janice Marsh, all of Springfield; two grandchildren, Jordan Marsh and his wife Suzy of St. Charles, MO and Lauren Marsh of Springfield, MO. Arbie is also survived by his three sisters, Frances (husband Bill) Riggs of Sparta, Tennessee, Lola Mae Scoggins of Rogers, Arkansas and Rosalee (husband Larry) McNeill of Tenaha, Texas; and two brothers, Paul (wife Mary) Marsh of Rogers, Arkansas and Jerry (wife Pam) Marsh of Farmington, Arkansas.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel. Visitation will commence one hour before the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
