Antoinette (Mancini) Boyd, 78, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 28, 2009, at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. She was born January 12, 1931 in Bergen County, NJ to Michael and Anna (Alteri) Mancini. Antoinette was married to Richard Lee Boyd for 17 years and they had two children. He preceded her in death in 1992. Antoinette is also preceded in death by her parents and two sisters Rose Corviello and Grace Biamonte. Antoinette was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Antoinette enjoyed volunteering her time at St. John's Teddy Bear Club and gift shop. Family was the center of her life. She was very involved in helping care for her great grandchildren. She has left an imprint on many lives and will be remembered for her love, care and devotion to her family. She is survived by her two children, JoAnn Daigh and her husband, Fred of Republic, MO and Richard Lee Boyd, Jr. & his wife, Cindy of Greenfield, MO. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great grandchildren, Anthony Daigh, his sons Blake, Nicholas & Wesley all of Republic, MO; Jeremy Boyd & Amber and their sons Brayden & Rayder of Greenfield, MO; Stephanie & Warford B. Johnson, III, their son Jackson, of Springfield, MO; Kelley & David Jacobson, and their son Cole, of Nixa, MO. A visitation will be at 6:00 pm on Monday, August 31, 2009 at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home with graveside services and burial at 2:30 p.m. at Pennsboro Cemetery.
