Annette Gilbert, 82 of Rogersville passed away Wednesday,  January 31, 2024 in her home with her husband by her side.

She was born March 27, 1941 in Atlanta, Georgia to Paul and Mary (Harper) Goins.  She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  She was a lifelong protestant.  Annette had a great sense of humor.

She is survived by her husband, Rod Gilbert of the home; daughter, DeDe Miller and husband, Christopher of The Woodlands, Texas; son, James Anthony, III, of West Palm Beach, Florida; three grandchildren, Mary Beth Yanulis Sutton of Baltimore, Maryland, Brian Yanulis of San Deigo, California, and Anna Miller of Houston, Texas; Rod's brother, Steve Gilbert and sister, Becky Fawcett and husband, Randy as well as a host of  friends.

Private family services will be at a later date.
