Anne R. Ethridge, 80, Springfield, MO, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, March 21, 2016 in Magnolia Square with her family at her side. She was born on October 7, 1935 in Washington, D.C., the daughter of Lawson and Joanne (Hutchinson) Romjue. She grew up in Macon, MO and graduated from Macon High School.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Allen Ethridge; brothers, James Romjue and Andy Romjue.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, David B. Ethridge; a son and his wife, Andrew and Ann Ethridge; two brothers, John Romjue and wife, Inge; and Bill Romjue; two grandchildren, Alex and Tyler Ethridge; a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends; and her caregiver, Geneva Harness.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 24, 2016 in Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel with Dr. Russell Dell officiating. Burial will follow in Rivermonte Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Heart Association.
