Anna A. Vespa, age 91 of Springfield, passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2019, in her home.

Anna was born March 12, 1928, in Brooklyn, New York, to the late Lorenzo Di Bella and Lena Figlioli Di Bella.

She married the late Nickolas Vespa on September 19, 1953.  She and Nickolas have been Springfield residents for more than 40 years.

She was a devoted Catholic and a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church.

She is survived by her son and his wife Drs. Donald and Amy Vespa; two daughters, Laraine Mobley and Janet and her husband Alan Hoambrecker; eight grandchildren, Michael, Michelle, Courtney, Daniel, Thomas, Nickolas, Kasey & Brean.

Visitation and Prayer Service will be held Thursday, January 2, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Gorman- Scharpf Brentwood Chapel. Funeral Mass will be Friday, January 3, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. in Holy Trinity Catholic Church with the Rev. Patrick Ike Nwokoye and the Rev. Thomas E. Reidy concelebrant, under the direction of Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel.  Burial will be in Missouri Veteran's Cemetery.
