Ann J. Wilbur passed away December 24, 2015 at age 82. She was born January 31, 1933 to Elvera and Hugo Bolmgren in Minneapolis, MN. After attending Luther College in Decorah, IA she obtained a BA and BS-EDU from the University of Minnesota. Before marriage she taught special education in Osseo, MN. On June 11, 1960 she and Dr. James M. Wilbur, Jr. were married in Minneapolis.

She is survived by her husband and their children Kirsten, Karen, Eric and her six grandchildren Mitchell, Susanna, Anna Marie, Thomas, Keegan and Bailey.

She served on the city council, the planning and zoning board and was an active member of the League of Women Voters, served on the SMMA board, taught ESL for immigrants, and was a volunteer for Crosslines.

A memorial service and a celebration of Ann's life will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Messiah Lutheran Church under the direction of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home.
