Ann Walters, 84, a long-time resident of Springfield, Missouri, has left the dance floor of earth. On Oct. 28, 2019 she joined her late husband, Ellis, in heaven for another waltz. The daughter of John and Annie McNeely, Ann had a knack for numbers and excelled as an auditor for the phone company. She had a zeal for life and many interests: The Elks Lodge, Pathways United Methodist Church, George's restaurant, sports, dogs, cooking, music, teaching, and more.

Ann was preceded in death by her husband Ellis, and daughter Colleen Elizabeth Messner. Ann's surviving children are Clifford Walters, Connie Shelby, and Colette Walden, all of Springfield. She is also blessed with four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Ann will be held Friday, November 1, at 1:00 pm, with the service to follow at 2:00 pm, at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home, 1947 East Seminole, Springfield, MO 65804.
