Angela Fae (Wyman) Sikes went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on January 31, 2025, with her daughter by her side. She will be deeply missed as she was a wife, mother, Gammy, Augy, sister, aunt and friend to many.
Angela was born May 26, 1949, in Verona, MO. She was the daughter of Glen & Elberta Wyman. Angela graduated from Aurora High School in 1967. She resided in Missouri until 1980, then she and her 8-year-old daughter, Xan, moved to Texas. In Texas, Angela met the love of her life, Johnnie C Sikes Jr. They resided in Carrollton, TX, where they raised their three children. Angela enjoyed a successful career as an executive, administrative assistant and eventually retired from Brinks – Armor Car Division. Angela and Johnnie retired to Lake Fork, TX, where they built a beautiful home on 40 acres, fished, gardened and enjoyed life. In 2018, Johnnie & Angela moved back north to Ozark, MO.
Angela had many talents! She was an excellent cook, and others frequently requested her delicious recipes. She had a green thumb and a deep love for animals - especially dogs. She always loved her dogs and took great care of each of them - Benji, Honey, Allie and her beloved Tip-P who kept her company during her last years.
Angela was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan and had a complete outfit to wear during each game. She was devoutly generous to many organizations, especially those serving animals and veterans. She was a talented hair stylist and seamstress.
Angela was proceeded in death by her parents and her husband, Johnnie C Sikes Jr. Angela is survived by her daughter, Xan German of Springfield, MO; son, CPO Johnnie C Sikes III of Bulverde, TX; daughter, Stephanie Lindberg and husband, John, of N Richland Hills, TX; brother, Tom Davis and wife, Susan, of Golden City, MO. Angela has ten grandchildren: Adyson, Alex, Ashley, Kelaiah, Isaiah, Noah, Cody, Ryan, Adam & Aron.
She will be missed by many. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Guided Eye Dogs for the Blind, Paralyzed Veterans of America or the organization of your choice.

Visitation will be from 2:00 - 4:00 PM on Sunday, February 16, 2025 at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home.
