Andrew H. Hensley, 46 of Springfield passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2025.  He was born in Terra Haute, Indiana on December 23, 1978 to Homer "Wills" and Dian Allen Hensley.

Andy graduated from Parkview High School in 1997 where he was on the Vikings wrestling and football teams.  He also played a year of college football at Missouri Southern State University in Joplin.  He worked at Garbo's Pizzeria, Hemingway's, Springfield Billiards and Coyotes Adobe Cafe, then as a roofer, engraver/installer at The Monument Shoppe and metalworker at Paul Mueller Co.  Andy was a loyal and hardworking man.

He is preceded in death by his father, Homer "Wills" Hensley; his brother, Aaron Hensley and an infant sister, Karmon Hensley.

Andy is survived by two sons, Hayes and his mom, Kassidy and Owen and his mom, Katy; his mother, Dian as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends.

Andy loved his people fiercely and made a lasting impact on those he crossed paths with.  He had a great heart and felt things extremely deeply.  He will be missed.

Graveside services will be Friday, March 14, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Mansfield Cemetery, Missouri.  A visitation will be Friday, February 28, 2025 from 6:00-7:00 PM at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home.
