Analita Savet Colvin-Coulter, 47 years old, died peacefully on Friday, January 12, 2018 in her home with her loving family beside her.
Analita was born on May 27, 1970 in Manila, Philippines to Merlinda (deceased) and Reynaldo Savet Sr. The only girl among the siblings - Bong (deceased), Don, Ching, John and Jay -and their respective spouses - Yam, Karen, Trish and Wychie. She is survived by her loving husband Adam, daughter Danielle, son Alexander and special niece Camille who was always there for Analita. She was predeceased by first husband Hank Colvin.
Analita was brought up in a family with strong values including the desire to help others. Even as a child, she possessed a contagious smile and an entertaining sense of humor that won the hearts of many. She received her B.S. degree in Occupational Therapy and for twenty-five years worked with compassion, care and concern in the Springfield area. Through her spirituality and dedication to her strong Catholic faith, she and Danielle were sacramentally united as a family in holy matrimony with Adam and Alexander which exemplified their everlasting love for one another.
Her strong will to live, unwaivering faith in God, along with the love and prayers of family and friends gave her the strength she needed to persevere. She is and will always be loved by the many lives she touched through her positive outlook in life and strong personality. Her signature gift of joy, shown through her constant smiling and laughter will never be forgotten.
A Prayer Service will be held on Tuesday, January 16 at 6:00 PM with visitation to follow until 8:00 PM at Gorman -Scharpf Funeral Home, 1947 E. Seminole St. and a Requiem Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 17 at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1115 N. Campbell Ave . A period of mourning and internment will take place in Manila afterward. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Academy, 515 W. Scott Street, Springfield, Missouri 65802.
