Almanzo Grant Hall, 18, spent most of his life in the Pleasant Hope, MO area and passed away on Monday, May 21, 2018 in Joplin, Missouri.
Almanzo was born on Friday, June 25, 1999 in Springfield, Missouri. Born 11 weeks early, along with his twin sister, Amelia Grace Hall to Janet Leann Hall. Almanzo grew up enjoying skateboarding, video games, and hanging out with family and friends. Almanzo had a passion for art and constantly drew things from his life. He loved animals, especially his dog, Destiny. He also loved turtles. Almanzo worked hard at school, and was looking forward to pursuing higher education in college.
Almanzo is survived by his mother, Janet Leann (Gambriel) Martinez and husband, Rosendo "Jr" of Corpus Christi, TX; his sister, Amelia Grace Hall of Pleasant Hope, MO and her fiancé, Charles Lee Johnston of Fair Grove, MO; his brother, Anthony Daniel Hall of Pleasant Hope, MO; and his dear friend, Karma June Sullivan of Pierce City, MO.
He is also survived by Uncle Billy Clark Gambriel of Pleasant Hope, MO; Aunt Jennifer Louise Kennedy and her husband, Terry of LaGrange, IN; Aunt Julia Lynette Guthrie and her husband, Kevin of Pleasant Hope, MO; Uncle Brady Franklin Gambriel of Bolivar, MO; Aunt Andrea Rosemarie Creasey and her husband, Tyler of Springfield, MO; Alvin Gambriel and his girlfriend, Samantha Sartin of Springfield, MO; cousins: Christina Dawn Gambriel, Billy "Clark" Gambriel, Jr., both of Springfield, MO, Christalyn Sueann Gambriel Selph of Pleasant Hope, MO; Blake "Cordale" Gambriel of Springfield, MO; Kirk Allen Kennedy, Justin Lee Kennedy, Nathanael Michael Kennedy, all of LaGrange, IN; Jillian Lynette Guthrie, Jevin Edward Guthrie, both of Pleasant Hope, MO; Justus Saber Gambriel, Braxton Skyler Gambriel, Elijah Sterling Gambriel, and Heston Stone Gambriel, all of Bolivar, MO; Mya Tieshay Heflin, of Springfield, MO and Kameron Alexander Bies of Pleasant Hope, MO.
Almanzo was preceded in death by his grandparents, Billy Franklin Gambriel and Virginia Louise Gambriel; great-grandparents, Virginia Lee Clark and Alvin Byron Clark; and several pre-term baby cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home, followed by graveside service at Bellview Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, May 25, 2018 from 6 to 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
