Mary Allegra Hyde, 42, passed away at her home in Springfield, Missouri, on Thursday, April 3, 2025 of complications from Moyamoya disease.

Allegra and her twin sister were born in South Korea and adopted at 4 months old by parents Bruce and Dory Hyde. She was raised in St. Paul, Minnesota and resided there until moving to Springfield, Missouri with her parents in 2012. Allegra was a graduate of Central High School and Century College in Minnesota. She loved making cards and scrapbooks and going to movies, plays, and concerts. She also volunteered regularly for Meals on Wheels and the Binnie Clements Guild.

Allegra was preceded in death by her father, Bruce Hyde, grandparents Leo and JoAnne Torborg and Bill and Sally Hyde, aunt Mary Slavek, and uncle Mark Torborg. She will be dearly missed by her mother Dory Hyde, twin sister Anne Hyde Crites, brother-in-law Will Crites, nephew Jake Crites, niece Elly Crites, and loyal golden retriever Rusty, as well as aunt Roz Hyde (Bob Wallace), uncle Alan (Linda) Hyde, uncle Tom (Kris) Torborg, uncle Charles Slavek, eight cousins, and many friends.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 1900 E. Barataria, Springfield, MO, followed by a reception at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations Meals on Wheels (c/o CoxHealth, 3801 S. National, Springfield, MO 65807) or the Binnie Clements Guild (c/o First and Calvary Church, 820 E. Cherry St., Springfield, MO 65806).
