Alice Kelley Tourville was born October 28, 1923 in Kiowa County, Colorado to Harry S. Kelley and Bessie Buck Kelley. She moved to Missouri in 1936. She graduated from Republic High School, Draughns Business College, and completed course work from The Institute of Finance in Chicago. In 1941, she married Jimmie Tourville and they were blessed with two children. After Jimmie's death in 1957, she moved to Springfield and was employed by a downtown financial institution for 30 years. After retirement, she volunteered for various causes, including the reading program of Springfield Public Schools and in the office of The Kitchen.

Alice was a member of Asbury UMC, Phi Sigma Alpha sorority, Community Business and Professional Women's Assoc., and in 1978 she was named to the Who's Who of American Businesswomen.

Her greatest joys were her children and grandchildren who survive her: son, Danny Tourville (Linda); daughter, Susan Julian; grandchildren Jason Tourville (Melissa), Jimmie Julian (Holly Pomrening), Suzanne McGowen, Allison Tourville (Scott Noskowiak), Buck Julian (Emily), Daniel Julain (Briana) and Angel Walton; great grandchildren Jared, Jeremy, Jamison, Jay, Mabree and Madelyn Tourville, Elsa McGowen, Marlee and Mason Noskowiak, Kaleb and Kyle Julian, Jack, Henry and Alice Julian, Brooks, Ellie and Nolan Julian and Addie Chapman.

Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home.
