Alice Lucille Simpson, 93, of Miller, Missouri passed away Sunday, November 22 at Mt. Vernon Place Care in Mt. Vernon, Missouri.  She was a member of First Baptist Church in Miller, Missouri.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Simpson; her son, Jimmy Simpson; her daughter and son-in-law, Deanna and Rick Foust; her parents, Virgil and Elsie Pendleton; her sisters, Doris Williams, Oma Pendleton, and Regina Baldwin; her brothers, Bud Pendleton and Melvin Pendleton.  She is survived by her son, Larry (Lois) Simpson; grandchildren, Ryan (Amber) Simpson, Ashley (Adam) Otradovec, Sonja (Jamie) Forrester, and Jason (Kathy) Foust and six great-grandchildren.

Known and loved by family and friends as "Old Nana," she enjoyed volunteering at the Miller Senior Citizens and Miller Christian Service Center.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Mt. Vernon Place Care for their loving support during her time at the facility.

A graveside service will be held Friday, November 27, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Round Grove Cemetery, Miller, Missouri, under the care of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials in Lucille's name be made to Round Grove Cemetery, Miller, Missouri.
