Alice Schumacher, 87, of Springfield, MO went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 12, 2017. She was born December 22, 1929 to the late Joseph Bertram and Helen Marie Putzstuck in Wesley, IA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Eugene Schumacher; Sisters, Katherine Hamilton (John) and Jean Bilyeu (Milton); Brothers, James Putzstuck (Rosanne), Joseph Putzstuck (Arline), and Gerald Putzstuck; Granddaughters Jessica Schumacher and Angel Schumacher.

Alice was a devout Catholic and a mentor to her favorite granddaughter, Stormy Schumacher. She and Ed were involved with the Cub Scout and Boy Scout programs. She loved reunions and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved her family and was loved by all who knew her.

She is survived by her children, Gary Schumacher (Linda), Kirk Schumacher (LaJuan), Sandy Schumacher (Daughter Stormy), Lance Schumacher (Evelyn) and Sharon Schumacher; Sister, Marge Bell (Paul), Brother, Johnny Putzstuck (Mary Ann); Grandchildren, Lori McCartney (Tim), Scott Schumacher, Lisa Schumacher, Kristin Jones (Kyle), Kyle Schumacher (Alana), Stormy Schumacher, Kelsey Schumacher and Madison Schumacher; 11 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
