Alice Ann Schroeder, age 83 passed away Friday, May 18, 2012 in Springfield, MO. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Daughters of St. Francis DeSales, and was the former director and 40+ year volunteer at Birthright of Springfield. Alice is survived by husband, Edward Schroeder, six children, nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A memorial mass will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, May 21, 2012 in Immaculate Conception Church with Father Lewis Hejna officiating, under the direction of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Burial will be in Missouri Veterans Cemetery. No visitation is scheduled; however, everyone is welcome at a luncheon after the service (at the church).
