Alice Marie Patrick Wooten, age 78, of Kimberling City, Mo passed away peacefully December 30, 2017 of esophageal cancer. She was surrounded by her family in the comfort of her home.

Alice was born on March 10, 1939 to the late Chester and Goldie Merritt in Broseley, MO.

Her career was in the Insurance claims business working for GAB,

American National Property & Casualty, AAA Claims and ultimately fulfilling her dream of opening her own business Patrick Adjustment Company.

Alice was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years Ervin "Pat" Patrick and four siblings Lois Moody Sinko, Wilma Doherty, Chester Merritt Jr and Michael Merritt.

Alice was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Kimberling City, MO.

Alice loved living at the lake. Being able to boat, fish and enjoy the beautiful outdoors with her family; a tradition she passed onto her children and grandchildren. Every January she traveled south to Jupiter, FL to live for the winter months. She loved her St. Louis Cardinals and worked part-time at their Spring Training team store.

Her loving husband Harold Wooten passed away 26 hours after her passing.  She is survived by her children Debbie Hernandez (Ben) of Overland Park, KS and Jeff Patrick (Donna) of Springfield, MO; step-children Chris Patrick (Reta) of Nixa, MO, Mark Patrick (Angie) of Clever, MO and Becky Spence of Springfield, MO; grandchildren Dayne Glass (Jennifer) of Stilwell, KS, Danielle Dvorak (Dane) of Overland Park, KS, Tyler Patrick (Shawna) of Republic, MO and Sara Davis (Mikey) of Rico, CO; great grandchildren Dani Dvorak and Jackson Glass. She leaves 11 step-grandchildren and 11 step-great grandchildren; sisters Joyce Francis of Cape Girardeau, MO, Mary Pickens (Gerald) of Kennett, MO, Janiet Adams (Roger) of Lebanon, TN; along with many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 4, 2018 from 11:30 to 12:30pm at the Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Funeral services will be January 4, 2018 at 12:30pm with burial at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
