Alexander Robert Stout passed away in his home on March 17, 2012. He was born in Philadelphia, PA on November 24, 1928. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alexander and Martha Belle Stout. Alex went to West Catholic High School in Philadelphia and graduated from Xavier University in Ohio, where he ran track. He was a Korean War Veteran and later worked as a chemist for Sherwin Williams. Alex was married to Josephine Green and to that union four children were born. He is survived by children, Rita Stout of Ambler, PA, Vincent Stout and wife, Mary Mahoney Stout of Springfield, Gina Stout of Scottsdale, AZ and Nora Stout Jennison of New York; one brother, Father O. Hugh Stout of New Jersey; one sister, Harriett Stout King of Philadelphia and her daughter, Alexis Armstrong; grandchildren, Julien Claire, Imari Malachi, Jamayne Kendrae and Jonathan; three great-grandchildren; wonderful in-laws; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends all over the country.
