Alberta Bonita (Case) Childers died June 6, 2012 at her home in Springfield, MO at the age of 70 years 1 month and 18 days. She had been in poor health for several years. Bonita was born April 19, 1942 to Albert James "Bud" and Hazel Loretta (Ware) Case. She attended Parkview High School and graduated with the class of 1960. She had lived in Springfield most of her life except for a few years when she lived in Oklahoma. Bonita worked for Associated Wholesale Grocers and Springfield Grocery Company. She was preceded in death by her father and brother, Gerald Case. She is survived by her mother; sister, Joyce Jennings and husband Bob of Nixa; sister-in-law, Nancy Penninger of Springfield; two nieces, Renee Penninger of Springfield and Robin Jennings Landwer and husband Brett Landwer of Roach, MO; nephew, Jamie Jennings of Springfield; great-nephew, Wyatt Landwer; and her friend of 30 plus years, Nancy Beddoe.
