Life Legacy

Darrel "Clark" Wilson, Jr., 23, of Fair Grove, MO passed away early in morning on Saturday, December 8th, 2012 in an automobile accident about one mile south of Fair Grove on US 65 Highway. Clark was born February 18, 1989 in Springfield to Darrel Edwin and Kimberly Sue Wilson. He was a 2007 graduate of Fair Grove High School and attended the University of Arkansas for 3 years, then deciding to attend the American Institute of Comedy in New York City, New York, which he graduated from in May of this year.
Clark is survived by his mother Kim Wilson, Fair Grove, MO; father and step-mother Darrel and Lori Wilson, Rogersville, MO; Paternal Grandparents Edwin and Lois Carol Wilson, Jr.; maternal grandmother Kay Cochran; great-grandmother Kathleen Craig; 1 sister Lisa Annette Wilson; 3 brothers Edwin Kameron Wilson III, Tyler Allen Smith, and Kirkman Edwin Wilson and wife Shyanne; 3 nieces Haley Mae Wilson, Lily Marie Locket and Ella Kay Wilson; nephew Devon Allen Smith, all of the Springfield area; a close cousin Skipper Wilson of Republic, MO and numerous other relatives and friends.
Clark was an aspiring comedian who had big plans for his future. His obvious love for Chris Farley, George Carlin, and Sam Kinison (just to name a few) really shined through with his actions in daily life and his constant efforts on and off stage to make everyone around him laugh till it hurt, as all of us know, was his joy in life. He often told jokes to friends, family, or sometimes even complete strangers when they were having a bad day to help them see the bright side of things. He had a way to make most anyone laugh/smile no matter what kind of mood they were in which is why he was loved by all and hated by none. He walked through life without a worry in the world, and we would like to think that is how he left. Laughing, smiling, telling jokes, and worry free.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Thursday, December 13, 2012 in Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel. Burial will be in Bass Chapel Cemetery located a few miles south of Fair Grove on Highway 125. Visitation will be from 6:30pm to 8:30pm Wednesday in the funeral home. Online condolences may be left at www.gormanscharpf.com.
