Biography

Brian Leslie Goodman, 50, of Springfield, MO passed away on Monday, May 14, 2012, when cancer took our precious loved one. He was born in Salina, KS on June 1, 1961, to Leslie J. and Linda Goodman.
He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents, Malcolm and Wilma Jones.
Brian leaves behind Kristina Gray; daughter Jessica; son Thomas; mother Linda; sister Cheryl and her children Lindsay, Matt and Emily.
Brian attended Glendale High School and graduated in 1979. He attended Votech Auto Body Repair and worked for several local body shops. He was a member of Masonic Lodge Gate of the Temple in Springfield, MO.
He loved to work in the yard, repair and tinker with lawn mowers and anything with small engines. He also enjoyed helping family, friends and neighbors.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 17, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. in Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Conway Cemetery in Conway, MO.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3322 S. Campbell, Ste G, Springfield, MO 65807.
